Halloween Class Treats!

I have been picking up things I have seen that are small and will fit in these goodie bags for Jack's classmates.  He has 23 friends in his Am Kindergarten class!  I found the Annie's Homegrown Halloween Bunny Graham goodies at Whole Foods, pencils, erasers, candy and bags at Target and stickers at Dollar Tree.  I am also working on some goodies for his teachers.  I will share them when I get done with them!

Today was Jack's last day of pre-k.  I am  sad he will not get to play with his friends anymore that he has made.  But, I am excited to watch him grow and learn!

Tomorrow is his graduation!  I'm sure I will be crying!

Today, we took cupcakes to school and took some photos around his classroom, of his favorite things.

His two favorite things were legos, and blocks!

We had a fun Saturday, it was hot, like summer!!  We went to a charity event for a good friend.  It was a plane pull for a WWII bomber, to raise money for adults with handicaps to have a place to live.  There are currently 300 on a waiting list right now to get into homes, with assisted living.

Jack of course enjoyed the big planes!  Both my kids started to fight and whine, I know they were hot.  Jack REFUSED to take off the batman costume, and Sam of course what hot with her back brace.

I didn't even know the museum existed, so we will be going back!

Last weekend we went to visit Papa and Mamaw it was really nice day too, I had been wanting to stop in Driver and take some pictures.  There was a tornado that hit there a few years ago. (Scary)

But I had wanted to get some photos by the old brick buildings!

Yes, I did tell Samantha next weekend she isn't wearing that shirt!!  LOL!

Today I have been cleaning house, boy, oh boy, did it need it!  So I am still working on laundry, will it ever END?!   

I am trying to come up with some fun Spring crafts to do, I want to make a little bird feeder with Jack.  Also start growing some flowers from seeds for him to watch, I was going to try the 2 liters, I think that looks like it should work really good.

Sadly, at Jack's school, only 4 of the chicks hatched,  I think 1 died =( 

He got to touch one this morning he was so excited!

          But I don't think they are doing too well so they are going back to the farm today to be with their mommy!  Yesterday they moved them under the heat lamp.  When Jack got home from school, Jeff asked him how the chicks where and Jack said they are under a red lamp to get soft!  I think the teacher was telling them they would get fluffy when their feathers dried out.  

          I have come across another amazing blog, I cannot wait to try these ideas!  They Look so fun, I love the eggs!  Easter is coming up so fast!  I need to put out all my Easter things!  =)

      Also have been working on getting Sam a Passport, she is going to the Bahama's with her Granny and Aunt.  I am jealous, but I think I would want to go without my kiddos.

My Dad still hasn't read the letters that took me for ever to get together.  My mom said he is afraid of what people put I guess...  I wish I was there, to read them to him.... Maybe I need my mom to send them back to me so I can read them to him over the phone!  HAHA

Well, off I go to switch the laundry!  

Wow, Monday is here...

Our weekend was pretty uneventful.  My Mother-in-law came to town and took the kids both days.  They did lots of shopping for warner weather clothes, seeing the Easter Bunny, they also went bowling!

The Hubby and I just hung around the house most of the time.  Saturday we did go see 21 Jump Street, its was funny =)

Friday at Jack's school we peeked at the chick eggs... they are suppose to hatch over the next 3 days!  I told the Teacher I am so excited!!  So this morning when we went in one of them is starting to crack!!  When I go pick up Jack this after noon I am going to take my Canon so I can get some good pictures!

 Jack also had to make an animal out of recycled items and bring it in to school!  So he wanted to make a Jaguar, but I found this duct tape laying around.... It sure was hard I don't see how a 4 yr old could do this, he helped very little.  But turned out ok I think.  I'm sure the family that made the giraffe will win it is cool! =)

It has been a long morning!  Today is my Dad's b-day, I chatted with him, he took the day off and might go fishing & work on his new bicycle he bought to take fishing.  I would love to see a photo of him on that bike with all his fishing gear!  Or just on the bike, I have never seen my dad on a bike!  

I took the girls to school then took Jack to the Doctor, because he is complaining of his throat hurting and when I looked at it last night it looked like thrush to me.  The Doc said he is fine, must be allergies!
So I took him to school.  =)

Now, I am home thinking of all the cleaning I need to do before my hubby comes home tomorrow!!  And Scooby will not stop barking at me... he must need something!  

Well, off to clean I go..

It's almost Friday!!!!

Wow, cannot believe it has been a week since my last post! Time flies when your having fun!

Ok, lets start off on Saturday... It was a nice warm day here, I had saw online that a Blogger I LOVE was going to be signing books at a near by book store.  She has also become a new host on Food Network, I admit I haven't watched her on tv, but I Love her Blog after a good friend introduced me to it!  Yes, It is Ree Drummond, Pioneer Woman!!  Unfortunately for me, Saturday I should have just stayed in bed.  The day didn't go as planned.  On the way I realized I forgot my big camera and when I got to the book store there were a million people already there, and I had my children with me.  Sam text me just 20 minutes after I got in line and informed me she had to drag Jack out of the store screaming.  So I waited about another 45 minutes, and the line hadn't even moved and inch, so I left.  If my kids wouldn't have been there OH I would have waited all day to get Jodie a cookbook signed!  So I left there very saddened and came home and did chores.  Like I said, should have stayed in bed.

On Sunday, We went to Jim and Brenda's house, Brenda cooked for us!  They have a new cat, it is very friendly, Jack loves her! It was another beautiful day!  It was a relaxing day, except the fact they have had the High Rise bridge closed, so going around takes forever!!  Jack asked me if they had moved, when we were on our way. LOL!

Monday,

Once a month I get my craft day Monday!  This Monday we made this so cute Tea holder!  I just love the colors in it!  Makes me ready for SPRING!

 Top!  I liked making this because it was different!


Finally, today I got my Dad's Box with his 60 years of memories in the mail!  That's a load off my mind!  My mom is trowing him a surprise party on Saturday!  She called me the other day and said "I just had a stroke!" I thought she was for real!  Then she continued with so and so called and dad almost answered the phone.  I told her Don't ever call me and the first words say " I just had a stroke!"

I hope my dad enjoys all the letters everyone did for him!  =)  Here are a few pictures of them!

Last but not least, Spring is here in Virginia!  My tulips have bloomed!  My daffodils have already came and gone, they don't last long.
