Wow, cannot believe it has been a week since my last post! Time flies when your having fun!

Ok, lets start off on Saturday... It was a nice warm day here, I had saw online that a Blogger I LOVE was going to be signing books at a near by book store.  She has also become a new host on Food Network, I admit I haven't watched her on tv, but I Love her Blog after a good friend introduced me to it!  Yes, It is Ree Drummond, Pioneer Woman!!  Unfortunately for me, Saturday I should have just stayed in bed.  The day didn't go as planned.  On the way I realized I forgot my big camera and when I got to the book store there were a million people already there, and I had my children with me.  Sam text me just 20 minutes after I got in line and informed me she had to drag Jack out of the store screaming.  So I waited about another 45 minutes, and the line hadn't even moved and inch, so I left.  If my kids wouldn't have been there OH I would have waited all day to get Jodie a cookbook signed!  So I left there very saddened and came home and did chores.  Like I said, should have stayed in bed.

On Sunday, We went to Jim and Brenda's house, Brenda cooked for us!  They have a new cat, it is very friendly, Jack loves her! It was another beautiful day!  It was a relaxing day, except the fact they have had the High Rise bridge closed, so going around takes forever!!  Jack asked me if they had moved, when we were on our way. LOL!

Monday,

Once a month I get my craft day Monday!  This Monday we made this so cute Tea holder!  I just love the colors in it!  Makes me ready for SPRING!

 Top!  I liked making this because it was different!


Finally, today I got my Dad's Box with his 60 years of memories in the mail!  That's a load off my mind!  My mom is trowing him a surprise party on Saturday!  She called me the other day and said "I just had a stroke!" I thought she was for real!  Then she continued with so and so called and dad almost answered the phone.  I told her Don't ever call me and the first words say " I just had a stroke!"

I hope my dad enjoys all the letters everyone did for him!  =)  Here are a few pictures of them!

Last but not least, Spring is here in Virginia!  My tulips have bloomed!  My daffodils have already came and gone, they don't last long.

Today was another hot day here in Virginia!  It's like it has gone right into Summer here.  I had wonderful walk this morning, I went early today before it got too hot.

After my walk I had a teacher conference with Jack's amazing teacher!  I love her, I couldn't have dreamed of a better teacher for him.  Of course, she said how great he is and that he knows all his letters and numbers, and can count to 29 by looking at the number.  The only thing we need to work on is holding his pencil correctly and not like a weapon.  And writing his name, he get the hook going the wrong  way sometimes.

After I picked up the kids from school they went outside and drew on the sidewalk with chalk!  I love that!  So my front porch is covered! =)

Samantha got Student of the month!  I am so proud of her she has been working really hard, and one of her teachers noticed to select her!  =)

Here are some of the books Jack is loving right now at bedtime...  He is into Cat In The Hat because his birthday was earlier this month!

Today is another pretty day here in Virginia.  I went for a walk earlier, everything was still wet from the rain we had this morning.  It was humid.  But a good walk!

I did come up with a St. Patrick's day card, not the best, but it will work.  I only made 3, and I let Jack, Sam and her friend make one each.  I didn't have much green.

  I have been looking at the Stampin' Up website, I love their stuff!  Saw a couple of things I wanted in the Clearance section! =)


I went to Jack's school and hung out for a bit.  The teacher and I wanted to get a class photo.  The school doesn't do them... they just to a school photo.  So I was glad to do it! =)


Well, it's almost time to go get the kiddos!  Happy Tuesday!

Monday, March 12th 2012...

It is a beautiful day today, the sun is shinning and the birds are singing!  I went for a nice walk.   Came home and updated my iPod for better walking music tomorrow.  =)

I am going to try and make a couple St. Patty day cards, I'll keep up updated on them!

I am listing to the dog snore and the hamster eat!

We had a great weekend!  Saturday, we went to the Library, they were having an Anime festival.  There were all kinds of people dressed up, and dancing out if front of the Library.  Jack loved it!  Then I over heard at 1pm they where having SUMO wrestling!!  So Jack was really excited for that!  Samantha and her friend wrestled each other it was awesome!  Bummer was I didn't have my phone it was dead!  So Sam's friend got a couple of pictures for me!  =)

Then we went to the movies and saw the Lorax, it was good and I loved all the colors in it =)

Sunday, Jack and I just hung around here, we did go grocery shopping.  Jack played in the backyard with the golf set he got at the store, too bad he was just beating my flowers with the club tho.

He is always giving me flowers, he is so sweet. <3

Wow!! It has been a while! I am going to try and get back into writing on the blog!

So lets see here.... Today it is raining and chilly outside. The traffic was awful getting the kids to school. My hubby is out of town for business. So I am listing to the dog snore and the clock tick-tock. I am going to try and feed my creative side today, it's been too long and I miss it dearly. I am thinking of updating Samantha's school scrapbook! I need to work on my dad's birthday gift. He is turning 60 the end of this month! I got the idea off Pinterest! I hope he likes it! I haven't gotten letters from his sisters yet tho, I am hoping that they are working on it!

Both my kiddos are doing good! Jack has a girlfriend her name is Madeline, he announced the other evening that he kissed her on the playground! He is so stinking cute!

Samantha is doing great in school, working extra hard, still obsessing over hair and make-up but I guess that is to be expected from a 13 yr old!

Jack is the BIG # 4!

I really can't believe Jack is four! They do really grow way too fast! For his birthday on the 27th, we went to a park in the morning so I could get my dream picture of him holding balloons. Then we went to another park with friends, for fun and cupcakes! Then we came home had pizza and opened gifts and had cake! He had a great day! Then on Saturday, we went to the pool at Papa's and then came home had burgers, with Papa and Brenda, then opened more gifts and had some brownies that Brenda made for Jack!

Summer is here!!

SUMMER IS HERE! The kids are out of school!
Samantha's last day was June 16th, so this coming week will be our first full week of summer!

It is going to be a challenge to keep her busy this summer.

Jack is doing great, all boy keeping me on my toes all the time still! A few nights ago he had a dream about the Ice cream truck. (BUT HE HATES ICE CREAM) But in his dream I guess I was upstairs and wouldn't go outside with him to get him any. So every night as he is laying down to go to sleep he says "come to me in my dreams, Ice cream truck!" over and over! It is so funny! He will help me read at night. We read at least 3 books a night, his favorites are Go Dogs GO! and The going to bed book.

Also did some playing around with my camera, got some pretty good pictures of Jack! It was fun!

One last picture, I took the kids to get ice cream, I have been wanting to go to this one ice cream place that had this Huge Chair! It SCREAMS SUMMER!
