Well I am so glad they are done with the floors. We had a bumpy start. On Monday when they started, my elderly neighbor came over at 9 am when they started to rip up the tile by the front door. He asked me if we where tearing up his water pipes. I said no we are geting a new floor and they are right hear at the front door, they are no where near our sharing wall. I was a little suprised to see it also looked like we had woke him up, because most old ppl I know get up at the crack of dawn.
They almost got done on Monday but didn't get to finish the family room. So they came back on Tuesday, when at 10 am they ran out of molding so I had to run and get some more. So I was almost back home and Jeff called telling me that they need more flooring, they must have miss measured. So I turned around to go back to Lumber Liquadators. I got there had to wait in line again for 30 min. then they said we don't have any, but you can drive over an hour away to another store and get it there. So I called Jeff and told him and we thought we would rather get it done today then have to put it off longer.
So I was so happy Bonnie was here to watch Jack for me so I could go get the flooring. I got there fine, but wasn't too happy when I had to wait almost an Hour just to get 3 boxes!
I got home fine with the flooring and they finished up all but around the fireplace, we didn't have the right molding for that, and had to wait for them to get their truck in.
Yesterday they did all the upstaris carpet. Looks really nice, I am trying to get everything put back in it's place. I would rather go to bed. Scooby also got to go to the groomer all day and get all pretty!
